THIS 2018, Fête de la Musique continues its tradition of bringing together people from all walks of life. And with over 40 stages in and outside Metro Manila, Fête once again transcends all musical genres and tastes—from pop to hip-hop, reggae to classical, electronic to jazz, and so much more.
Surely, there’s a venue that will suit music fans from all over the country. Where to visit when? Here’s a guide to Fête de la Musique 2018’s main and pocket stages happening on June 16, 23, 29, and 30:
1. Pre-Fête Main Stage at Rizal Park
On June 16, a Pre-Fête main stage will also be held at the Rizal Park Open Air Auditorium featuring Chicosi, Gin Rum and Truth, Jana Garcia, Bonifacio Republic, Rebelde and more.
2. Makati Main Stage at A-Venue Parking Lot
The most sought-after bands and up-and-coming artists will perform in A-Venue Parking Lot starting 4 p.m. onward on June 23. These are August Wahh, Baihana, Oh! Flamingo, Lady I, Brass Pas Pas Pas Pas with Pochoy Labog, Kjwan, MotherBass, and more.
3. Makati Main Stage at Greenbelt 3 Park
Happening simultaneously is the main stage performances over at Greenbelt 3 Park on June 23. Artists and bands include Bluerats, She’s Only Sixteen, Ourselves The Elves, Pedicab, Orange and Lemons, and BP Valenzuela, among others.
4. Intramuros Main Stage at Puerta Real Gardens
On June 29, the Puerta Real Gardens in Intramuros will be transformed into a concert venue for Better Days, Shirebound and Busking, Sandwich, Apartel, Ebe Dancel, Autotelic, Tom’s Story, and many more.
The main stage will also see guest peformance of Lady’s Symphony, one of the rising names in the European electro-pop scene. Composed of French DJ Liz Candy, violinist Nyna Loren, and percussionist Narjess Saad, Lady’s Symphony presents a new approach to House Music that takes the audience to a magical trip full of electronic rhythms and strong melodies.
5. Baguio Main Stage at Malcolm Square
Co-presented by Funkybeat Entertainment, Canto and City of Baguio Tourism, Fête de la Musique goes to Baguio City for a cool night of music on June 29. Featured artists and band are Ang Bandang Shirley, Assembly Generals, Rusty Machines, Tarsuis, Brass Pas Pas Lite with Kat Agarrado, JCBX, Dott Seki and 10 a.m. Departure.
6. Laguna Main Stage at Da Pipols Food Park
Next day June 30, the festival then travels to Pagsanjan, Laguna. The Main Stage at Da Pipols Food Park will see performances of Gin Rum Truth, Bare and Loops, Blank Tapes, The Chongkeys and so much more.
There will also be a Hip Hop Stage at the Parking Lot featuring Heneral Lupa, Emar Industriya, Johnray, and Laguna Dance Crews, among others.

Plus Makati Pocket Stages
As in previous years, Fête organizers have collaborated with different independent production outfits to create genre-based pocket stages that cater to all tastes in music.
On June 23, Makati City will be energized with more than 35 pocket stages scattered across different bars, restaurants, artistic spaces and cultural hubs.

The 24th Edition of Fête de la Musique is presented by Alliance Française de Manille in partnership with B-Side Productions and the Embassy of France to the Philippines. The event is co-presented by San Miguel Corp.
